Karen: initially we will be looking at both Android and Windows. After that I'm not sure. Symbian is not really on our radar at the moment. There is going to be a number of new slate devices (that is, like the iPad) using Android out soon, and Windows is expected to follow when the Windows Phone 7 operating system is launched later this year. After we take a look at these, then we will think about other devices.
Richard: I can't say that we've 100% given up on the Apple platform and, no, it's not too high a mountain either! It's just that Apple's changes to their licensing is becoming extremely restrictive and, given that there will soon be many devices out that compare very favourably to the iPad, it is not a clear choice for us at the present. Should Apple change its licence conditions then that will change. I am also aware that Apple users tend to be passionate about their choice of device, and we certainly will listen to the weight of feedback from our registered users in this matter.
